About the Emergency Room Outpatient Clinic

・In the emergency room, priority is given to patients with serious and urgent conditions, so you may have to wait for a long time, or it may take some time to resume treatment after the emergency room treatment is interrupted. If you are able to see a doctor during the daytime on weekdays, please do so at the general outpatient clinic.

・At the emergency room, we have introduced a system of triage (adult and pediatric emergency triage) in which patients with a high degree of urgency and severity of illness are given priority for treatment.
ER nurses will listen to the symptoms of the patients and make sure that patients who need immediate medical attention do not have to wait for a long time to be seen. For this reason, please understand that the order of consultation may differ from the order in which you were accepted.
While you are waiting to be examined, a nurse will occasionally visit you to check on your condition. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to ask for help.

・ Diseases related to otolaryngology, dermatology, ophthalmology, urology, and mental health may not be handled in the emergency room. Please understand this in advance.

・The emergency room focuses on emergency procedures and treatments that are minimally necessary before a general outpatient visit. Therefore, in principle, medication prescriptions will be limited to the minimum necessary (one to several days' worth).
